Formerly a disused spinning mill, featuring a 14-foot high Victorian waterwheel, thought to be the oldest in Southern Scotland, Tower Mill has been completely transformed into Hawick’s premier entertainment venue, returning cinema to the town for the first time in almost 25 years. A 108 seat auditorium screens quality crowd-pleasers and family films as well as foreign language and arthouse, broadcasts the latest productions from the National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company and Royal Opera House, hosts some wonderful live theatre and is available for hire.
Tower Mill also encompasses a Visit Scotland Information Centre, popular café bar, rentable workspaces of multiple sizes and meeting rooms to hire.
Tower Mill hosts a variety of film and theatre screenings and performances on an almost daily basis. Check out the What’s on pages for full listings.
