Heart of Hawick

Public Transport

At present there are no railways through the centre of the Scottish Borders.

The nearest train stations are

  • Carlisle - which is 43 miles south
  • Edinburgh - which is 50 miles north
  • Berwick - which is 42 miles east

The X95 (and 95) service runs from Edinburgh to Carlisle .

To get from Berwick you will need to take the 60 service, from Berwick to Galashiels, and then change to the 95 service.
