Family Days Out

family dressed up Borders Textile Towerhouse is a family-friendly museum with plenty of hands-on things to do and see for a fun day out in Hawick. At BTT, we like to bring the generations together with something for all ages:

  • Under-fives will love our dressing-up box, craft and colouring activities
  • For primary kids, there's the jumper jigsaw, carding, lucet knitting, and plenty of touchscreen interactives
  • For teens, there’s a fashion catwalk, design studio and computer resources to explore

Bang on our doorstep, there’s a 100-seater cinema, a lively bistro and music venue, and a state-of-the-art family history centre.
